The estimates cover all anticipated charges and procedures for typical cases, including items like pot op X-rays and recheck for suture removals. Take home medications, protective gear for recovery and for more complicated cases, overnight care at a local 24 hour hospital are additional.

Amputation – Limb

Removal of limb due to trauma, tumor development, or other condition.

  • Under 15lb. pet – $1,200

Gastropexy

Preventive surgery where the stomach is attached to the body wall to prevent it from rotating and causing bloat (GDV). Commonly performed on large to giant breed dogs with deep chests.

Preputial Advancement

A surgical procedure for dogs that involves remodeling the preputial tissue to cover a penis that will not stay in the sheath.

Amputation – Tail

Removal of a tail due to trauma, tumor development, or other condition.

Gastropexy & Spay/Neuter

Gastropexy combined with a spay/neuter  – Preventive surgery where the stomach is attached to the body wall to prevent it from rotating and causing bloat (GDV). Commonly performed on large to giant breed dogs with deep chests, performed during the same procedure as the spay or neuter.

Preputial Reconstruction

A surgical procedure for dogs that involves remodeling the tissue around the prepuce to repair the area.

Removal of a toe due to trauma, tumor development, or other condition.

GI Foreign Body - Bowels

Removal of a section of the bowel and then repair of bowel after a tumor, trauma or blockage has occurred.

Pyometra

Removal of an infected uterus during the spay procedure, which may be “open” (infection drains from the uterus) or “closed” (infection is trapped, posing a risk of rupture). This is typically an emergency condition.

Anal Gland Sacculectomy

Scrotal Urethostomy – Dogs

C-Section with Spay

Skin Tag Removal

Colopexy

Hernia Repair – Inguinal

Correction of openings in the body wall in the groin area that can entrap abdominal organs.

Soft Palate Correction

Shortening of the soft palate in bully breeds to prevent it from obstructing their airway. This procedure is most effective in patients under 18 months of age.

  • Limited to pets between 6-18 months old

Cystotomy

Surgical removal of stones from the bladder and/or urethra. Stones can block the urethra and obstruct urination.

Hernia Repair – Umbilical

Spay

Removal of the ovaries and, in most cases, the uterus of female dogs and cats. This prevents heat cycles and eliminates the possibility of pregnancy.

  • Price is for all spays for cats and dogs.
  • 16 weeks – 7 years old – anything outside of that age range requires a consultation.

Dewclaw Removal

Removal of a dog’s dewclaw, the small innermost toe that doesn’t touch the ground, for cosmetic or preventative reasons

Mass Removal

Removal of lumps or masses from a pet’s body. Mass removals may require a pre-surgical consult.

  • Mass less than 1 inch – $240
  • Mass 1-3 inches – $375

  • Mass over 6 inches – $1,790

Stenotic Nares

$250

Removal of excess nasal tissue in squished nose breeds (e.g., French Bulldogs, Pugs) to improve airflow through the nose. Most effective in patients under 18 months of age.

  • Limited to pets between 6-18 months old

Entropion

Surgical correction of eyelids that roll inward, causing eye injury.

Neuter

Removal of the testes in male dogs and cats. This procedure prevents the ability to impregnate females and can reduce behaviors like territorial marking, urine marking, and roaming.

  • Price is for all neuters for cats and dogs.
  • 16 weeks – 7 years old – anything outside of that age range requires a consultation.

Urethral Prolapse

Surgical correction of a condition where the inner lining of the penis protrudes from the end of the penis. Common in intact male bull dog breeds. Neutering is also recommended.

Enucleation

Removal of an eye, usually due to trauma or glaucoma.

Neuter & Scrotal Ablation

Scrotal Ablation – Removal of the scrotum, usually during a neuter procedure or due to a tumor. Particularly in large, older male dogs.

Vulvoplasty

Removal of excess tissue around the vulva in female dogs, to correct the placement of the vulva to prevent recurrent urinary tract infections.

Eyelid Mass

Removal growths or tumor from the eyelid.

Perineal Urethostomy – Cats
